Modernizing a trusted public utility.

Hammond Water Works

Services: Branding, Creative Design, Campaign Development, Website Development

Challenges

Hammond Water Works is a trusted public utility with a long-standing role in the community, but its brand and digital presence did not reflect the quality, professionalism, or pride behind the organization.
As a public-facing organization, Hammond Water Works had to maintain trust, familiarity, and credibility while evolving to meet modern expectations.

Goals

Build a cohesive brand system that could support Hammond Water Works across digital, physical, and community-facing environments.

Key objectives included:

  • Refresh the logo and mascot while preserving recognizability and trust

  • Create a modern, user-friendly website focused on clarity and accessibility

  • Establish visual consistency across branding, signage, and communications

Our Approach

Rather than treating each deliverable as a standalone project, we focused on building a flexible brand system that could scale across platforms and evolve over time. The logo refresh, mascot upgrade, website redesign, signage, and campaign work were all designed to work together, creating a clear and consistent experience whether someone was visiting the website, walking into the office, or engaging with the brand in the community.
